Production at the BMW engine plant at Hams Hall in North Warwickshire, England began in January 2001. The £400 million production facility is the first BMW engine plant to be built outside Germany and Austria. Hams Hall plays a crucial role in BMW Group?s international production network as the ?centre of competence?.
The catering challenge is embodied in their by-words for success ? agile, efficient and innovative. Production schedules can change instantly and we have learned to react quickly and efficiently to meet the catering needs required. Hospitality Fine Dining is no exception where only the best is good enough. As with many of OCS?s automotive sites, the need to match service efficiency to site productivity is paramount ? there can be no queuing or waiting around for associates with productivity targets to meet!
A whole range of Key Performance Indicators which are measured and reported monthly from queuing times to health and safety, from catering uptake percentages ( at a staggering 85%! ) to cost saving initiatives.

As a result of the successful contract at Hams Hall, OCS here now been awarded the contract for BMW Cowley opening in Spring 2005.
